Can't comment on what its been like in Woodford but Swifty put a photo of Beaconsfield's pitch on twitter and it didn't look too bad.

More to the point, if the game is called off will the FA just pan the fixture as the semi is on Tuesday, surely no time to play the fixture???

If today's match is postponed it will be rearranged for this Tuesday evening with the play-off semi-final taking place this Thursday evening.

well if the worst comes to the worst surely we will play next to no 1st teamers in the rearranged game?

If the game is called off today and with it forecast to be chucking it down tomorrow and more rain next week I can't see it being played on Tuesday either.

 

I would also have thought that SYCOB's pitch will need attention, especially in the goal mouths, if the semi-final is to go ahead next week.

My understanding is we can only play the kids if they are registered. Most aren't.

If our game can't go ahead today, but the other teams in the playoffs are able to do so, surely that leaves us at a disadvantage in the playoffs.

I was supposed to play at sycob Thursday and it was off by wed midday! It will only have got worse since then!

Kay just texted to say game confirmed as OFF and rescheduled for Tuesday.

Exactly, at what stage does the final itself get pushed back?

Season offically ends on 7 May - insurance/contracts etc end then. Could be a busy bank holiday weekend

The match v Woodford United HAS to be played before we play the semi-final.

Only one day without rain forecast for the next five days in Woodford, and that is Monday. Game should be played then, if the league are going to insist it goes ahead
