I'm gonna have too aren't I. However as someone who has given a lot to the club and even if I hadn't I'm entitled to air my views. It'll take more than that and as I said if he does well I'll be first to hold my hands up no problem. I hope he does well I just don't think he will.

35. I think I may have played against him when he was at Mursley but not sure. Why would you know? you don't know anything about as proved by not answering my questions to you about him. So tell me is he your type?

Not sure how training was and turn out etc was last night. Looks like his key players from last season are staying at Buckingham Town a piece on their website has them all with their new sponsor for next season. I've tried to have a word with a few players I know but they not interested in playing for Kit Bamber unfortunately, maybe if the first ten games go well some who are undecided may come and give it a go. Be interested to see first few fixtures in Div 2 we always got stiffed with loads of away games first few months

A little birdy told me that Winslow didn't want players from Aylesbury. So if I had applied I wouldn't have got it!!

I heard that, you wanna know what that is. It's a hangover from when they felt the season we had to withdraw they were left in te lurch by Steve Kelly. Ridiculous. Steve also along with Mick Foster have been the two most successful managers for us in last 20 years or so. Both abrasive at times they prob saw Mercer as a Foster type which in my opinion is a good thing. As I said they've gone with the "safe" option. A real shame. Plus half the team at least for last ten years have been Aykesbury based players and some of our better players from there so it's just so stupid and pathetic really. The committee need to listen to people who know football for on the field decisions if yousee why I mean.

We never have any money for players. They are always well looked after though, the support structure for players and management is excellent. However you get nowhere by being "safe" travelling is ok nothing like Hellenic. Only I problem when I remember being away to Colney sat away to Royston weds then away Hoddesdon te following sat. That was an horrific week.

I think it's probably safe to say that the concerns I and others expressed being reality are the main reasons. Fair play to Chairman for being brave and doing the right thing. It's the appointment that should have been made and we are weeks behind but now look in a much better position than the one we were facing at 19:45 yesterday.

As I said I hoped I'd be wrong at it would work out brilliantly I just knew it wouldn't but as you say the committee desere credit for admitting error and making a correct and brave decision. I'm sure if Kit wants to be involved as a coach as I'm told he is a good one I'm sure every effort will be made to find a place in the new structure. Relief. Phew. Onwards and upwards.

Fantastic news, Well played Mr Chairman, I take my cap off to that decision, took a lot of bollox, swallowed a lot of pride but he made a brave ballsy decision and we got there in the end!! Absouletely buzzing for next season now!! A big warm welcome to Perry from all at 'The Gate' could not be happier!! I didn't expect this to happen but am chuffed to pieces!! Would love to see Kit stay as I believe he could be an invaluable member of the club!! Fight Fight Wherever You May Be We Are The Boys From The Bucks County!!
