Winslow Boy - It would appear that the Club don't share your own personal view as the Website states they 'are very pleased to announce, after a lot of interest from some very accomplished applicants, the appointment of Kit Bamber as our new first team manager.

We believe Kit is the ideal candidate to help us continue the growth of our club:

Wow really I hadn't read that or heard that! Thanks so much for posting. Now I see how wrong my opinion is!! You bl00dy moron. I think I've covered all this in my various rants. Time will tell and it could be told as soon as this Thursday. I believe it is a poor decision and one taken by people whose expertise is not in on the field footballing matters, the committee and chairman are doing an excellent job in so many respects but they have this bang wrong and should have taken the counsel of those that know better.

Hahaha that did make me laugh. I might just drop by closer than Winslow to me. However with your multi million pound budget not sure I want to see us get turned over that badly. Lol

To be balanced and honest since I had said today could be a disaster. Apperently around 30 training a lot of new faces so at least it wasnt 5 or 6 no idea if they any good or will e training elsewhere but fair enough not terrible like i thought it would be. Still 1 training session and no idea on level of quality

I buzzing for it now mate , can't wait to get started not sure how we will do in the prem but we will give it our all , my skipper and centre half retired at end of season which is a massive massive blow for us , he also won players player and managers player so says it all really lol .

Really Skinny and no.4? Thought they would have liked at least one season. Both more than enough ability. Got plenty of ability an a number of players who have proven themselves at that level it'll be a good season

From what i saw of Ampthill be it just one game i thought most of the Ampthill players could make the step up no probs.

yeah yeah, applied after e was sacked just wants to be involved in football clubs. Says no passion for Winslow job. "keeping current squad together" thats a laugh they have already gone and the two or three we were hoping to keep left after his appointment was announced.

I'm gonna have too aren't I. However as someone who has given a lot to the club and even if I hadn't I'm entitled to air my views. It'll take more than that and as I said if he does well I'll be first to hold my hands up no problem. I hope he does well I just don't think he will.
