Time to celebrate

Recommended Posts

What has,in reality been a cracking season.

At the start of the season we would of bit your hand off to possibly finish 2nd,being in the hunt for the title with 2 weeks left.A 5-0 win at Thurrock,3-2 at farnborough and a trip to Grimsby, where although we lost the game,we outplayed them at times in the 2nd half.

Saturday is our last league game of the season and we should look back on the season, not forward to the possible minefield that is the play offs,we can worry about that from Sunday.

Despite recent form, the team have been nothing short of brilliant this season and we should get behind the team Saturday, show them our gratitude and hopefully get the win needed to finish in our highest ever Ryman league position.

We also have the presentations after the game. The disco,I am led to believe, will start straight after the game.please stay,I think the presentations will take place around 7pm so even if you can't stay all night, please stay for a while to show your gratitude to the team and it will also help confidence for them to see how many turn up,going into the play offs and Wednesdays MASSIVE game.

The disco etc is free,so no reason not to stay, there's also a buffet and obviously you can have a few beers etc.

So come on down and support the club.

If you can't make the game, don't worry, you can still cone down for the party, the more the merrier.

It's been a cracking season. If you look at the resources available and the attendances we get compared to the Lewes's and Lowestoft's of this world, to finish a maximum of 3rd (and hopefully second) with that great away tie at Grimbsy (and have Billericay worried just for a little while - hence the amount of posts they put on here) it's been a good time to be an Urchin.

It has been a testament to all the hard work and effort behind the scenes - and the season won't be over on Saturday whatever happens in the final league game.

Totally agree it has been one amazing and successful season for Hornchurch and i'm very pleased with how well that the team have done and how far that they have taken the club this season.

Also think that the most loyal supporters, you know who you are, have gone all out this season to help the club and long may it continue!! :applause:

All i want now is "the icing on the cake" with a successful run in the playoffs.

What ever happens let the party commence on Saturday we have loads to celebrate.

I'm getting down the club for my usual early time and will stay straight through to the party afterwards!! :drinkies:
