Well done to Talc and some of the ex Winslow boys too. They've been superb all season and have been strong for a good few before. Well done to all.

I expect it left a bitter taste in the mouth at Elmfields Gate as they took six points off Winslow United

Thanks all. Tring Army, thanks see you Tuesday. Hopefully will be a good game. Winslow Boy, not sure why Rhodes is saying that you hadnt said well done on the other thread, maybe he thinks we would be at each others throats!!

He only does it hoping he will get a bite, shame he's not as good when it comes to answering direct questions that are put to him, or better still attends games so his point of view has some creditable knowledge.

Anyway Fvck him, well done on your success this season, and know its been said before but it's a crying shame your club cannot ply its trade at a higher level

not sure why Rhodes is saying that

Well Winslow United were odds on favourites to win Division 2 this season weren’t they and failed miserably which is a shame as with their excellent facilities the Club should be in Division 1

Fair enough can't argue that. Certainly yes we had expected to be there like we had last season and both times we have come up way to short, thats life and we will just have to go again.

Had the kn0b taken in some Division 2 games then his opinion may be valued.

It shows a disrespect to clubs such as Clinton, Tottenhoe and Risborough saying you were clear favourites, know you'd hoped to have done better but unless he watches these sides then once again he's taking out of his fvcking Rolf

I got the impression Winslow United started this season in a cavalier fashion thinking they would get three points every time they crossed that white line, okay they started positively with some good results but too many draws have been their undoing

It's a great feeling winning the league after we finished 2nd to Berkhamstead 2 years ago.

Funny thing is I thought 61fc were going to be our closest rivals but they seemed to fall apart once we beat them. Not an easy league to win and as many have said in the past most players in this league could quite comfortably play at a higher lever as the Padbury players have proved.

as the Padbury players have proved

Last seasons Padbury United team were mostly recruited from a higher level though weren’t they so this season at Ampthill Town they were punching on, or still below, their weight such as Lea Coulter for example

Nonsense, most of padburys team were playing in the North Bucks for PBMK prior to going to Padbury.

I thought Coulter went to Ampthill from Aylesbury... did he play for Padbury last season?

If that's the case and Coulter didn't turn out for Padbury United last season then I stand corrected but I'm pretty sure he did
