Essex Towners

To all South East Essex Towners.

Do not use the A130 and A13 route to Corringham on Saturday.

The A13 will be closed all weekend while they demolish a bridge over the A13.

A 127 is the option but will be busy.

From London there may be delays travelling eastwards on the A13 and A 127.

Come on you Towners

What poor planning when there is going to be hundreds of Towners travelling to East Thurrock.

As if many of them actually come from Liverpool.

Taken form BBC Travel News website -

M25 Greater London - Narrow lanes and a speed restriction of 50 mph on M25 in both directions between J29, A127 (Romford) and J30, A13 (Lakeside), because of a contraflow and major road widening work.

Taken from Essex County Council website -

The A13 will be closed (eastbound and westbound) for the deconstruction of the old Church Road Bridge, between the Pitsea Flyover and Sadler’s Farm Roundabout, on the east and westbound carriageways from 5am on Saturday 28th April to 5am on Monday 30th April. The diversion routes will be via the A128, A127, A176, A1245 & A130 reports

The bridge works are further down (only a little bit I know) the A13 in Pitsea but could cause Jams...Either way i'd leave in good time.

Might be better going A406 and gambling on the A13 to Corringham... West Ham are at home which causes delays around the 406/13 junction and area but they kick off at 12.30pm!

So is it ok M25 to ground?

Not if road works still by A13 Junction. Best give yourself plenty of extra time to get there.

Bollix! I'm starting my journey from CHESHAM! so 2 lots of roadworks!

Do you think the pitch can be a "little" waterlogged just enough to delay kick off!!

:D

Quite likely if the forecast today is right!!!

Can't even pump the water off the pitch with the hose pipe ban.
