Pretty self explanatory. Who else is? After some awesome performances early on in the case we have just had no consistency. We have seen the emergence of some excellent youth players couple of games we have had 5 local youth players in the 1st team. The club still firmly

Behind a talented young manager and we continue off the field work so hopefully over tw summer we can add some more players and play to the potential of what I believe to be a talented bunch (I do accept they haven't really shown it this year before anyone starts) should be an interesting summer.

:( Its been a terrible season for Hanwell Town but things have improved since the new managment came in and brought in some decent players but it was all to late. I have also enjoyed this season in a way because i have met lots of nice people and been to 5 new grounds and seen loads of goals mostly against us though :P

 

Bring on next season ;)

Loads of new grounds for you next season SB, will be honest tho and say Div 1 is a tough league too so won't be a walk in the park.

Assuming nothing changes Hoddeson, Crawley Green and Kings Langley will be all looking to get off to a good start which in a way was their undoing this season, and with long trips this way to Bedford, Buckingham, Cranfield, New Bradwell and Stony if they are not relegated, very demanding mate.

Enjoy the break first tho and then who knows

I agree it will be a tough league to get out off. But after the season we have had i would be very happy with a top half finish and a good run in one of the cups.

Are the Hanwell management team staying then?

If they stay along with the rest of your squad you should easy get top half finish, maybe better.

At least you can visit some new grounds and the bonus is admission fee averages £4.

Might have to drop your prices tho to stay in line

Dont Know.

 

I think that decision will be made after the season is finished.

Nope, not disappointed at all.

 

Barring a disaster next weekend we're likely to finish 5th or 4th which is an improvement on last season.

 

Could have gone a bit longer in the Cups I suppose, but that is a distant memory now and it's been an enjoyable campaign.

Hahaha I'm please for you!!! Don't bring your positivity to this thread of misery. Lol. I'm glad the Ducks are on the up and pleased the loyal fans have had an enjoyable season hopefully next season a title challenge

Do St Albans Reserves play there home games at Clarence Park ? its one of my fave grounds.

As KB said yes they do, personally I didn't think much of the place.

Defo visit Cranfield, nice little ground and an awesome clubhouse, taxi from the clubhouse to the pitch if you visit Stony.....and no entry fee at New Bradwell but they'd like you to buy a programme

Lost most games and got absolutely spanked in a few games. But I have absolutely loved it. Learnt a lot about managing teams at this level and looking forward to next season.

Fair play to you Munckin, it is never easy running a reserve side, you find the first team will leave you short at the last moment and it is easy to feel like second class citizens etc. The essential thing is though that you learn from it and even better that you enjoy and see progress in the players. I say this having experienced over 25 years of first team management, but I never lose sight of the fact that reserve team management can also be a thankless task.

 

Keep smiling, good luck for next season, I hope you win trophy's! :)
