Ash utds pitch

Any ash players or fans how is the ash pitch as my son is playing in a final there next Sunday.

What position does your son play?

Is he as vocal as yourself in his encouragement/criticism of his team mates?

Taking nothing away from their win yesterday (fully deserved and played well) and yes it is the end of the season, so all pitches aren't going to be in great nick.....but it was the worst ive seen this season. I was injured and not meant to come on but having used 2 subs and needing to make a 3rd through an injury for the last few minutes, I ended up coming on and it wasn't great, unfortunately.

As Milesey said you deserved your win and played well, He is not blaming the piitch for our defeat just answering the question regarding the pitch.

Correct the pitch was not to blame in any way for our defeat to you. You played us off the park and deserved the win no disagreement there. The pitch isn't in great shape the same as many others in the league at this stage of the season.

So what clues does ‘worst ive seen this season’ give to the condition of the pitch. It certainly not a concrete dust bowl because it had its surface covered in water on Friday because all of the rain we’ve had recently.

We at Ash try to get the pitch playable for all games (and there are not many that do get called off) but this does not always produce a ‘Wembley’ playing surface. Having said that, Ash still managed to play good football.

With the forecast of more rain all the way up to Sunday the pitch isn’t going to get any firmer but one thing is you can be assured of is that we will always make every effort to get the game played.

I brought up the fact that you could rely on there being a game at Ash's because there are rarely postponements.

 

Absolutely nothing to do with my club whatsoever, and yes, strangely enough I am aware that my club do not have a ground of their own, something you obviously find hilarious as you laugh out loud to yourself.
