And still ignoring clubs that may be relegated to the CCL Premier. Tell you what. Let's lock this thread until pre-season starts as it will save having to read the same old boring stuff.

Never had to consider relegated Clubs previously WFCPE. Even Clubs moved sideways (as when Ryman Clubs were placed in CCL) they weren't up to the level of existing top CCL Clubs. Can't see that changing - if the relegated Clubs can't afford the quality of player to keep them up they sure won't be able to afford the quality that will get them back up.

The situation with us (Whyteleafe) is that we had a significant change of constitution at the club quite late in the season by which we were nine points adrift at the bottom of the Ryman 1S. The new owner (old chairman) has done everything possible to turn things around but quite possibly left it too late. It's now gone to the wire for us. That said, if we were to come down I don't think he would splurge money to come straight back up knowing that Guernsey are in the league. He may leave it to the following year just to p*ss Windsor off!

Boring Ed,not a bit, very dissappointed with Windsors showing last year.In fact they cost me money, getting knocked out the Vase so early. The facts are there for all to see at whichever level you play, poor Clubs win nothing. This year alone Fleetwood Town,Woking,Billericay,St Neots,Guildford,Guernsey,Three Bridges,Herne Bay,will all be promoted. reason they are not poor.

Don't remind me. Probably our most spineless and listless display of the season. And that came on the back of an excellent 3-0 win against Oxford City Nomads.

It will be the same usual suspects, the Big budget clubs will be at the top fighting for that single elusive single spot (ie) Windsor, Guernsey, Egham, Camberley, Hanworth Villa, Wembley. Will the Badshot Lea moneyman put his money in again after the failure of recent seasons I wonder ?

There is usually one club that spring surprises like Horley this season.........will it be them again, or another.... South Park, E&E maybe ?

Happy for South Park to be a surprise package, NG!

wembley certainly talk a good game its unfortunate they cant play it. T.V is surely just like a kid with a new toy and as soon as he gets bored with it hell find another team to support his pension. wembley should keep themselves grounded. if they have the same team as next year they can have all the money in the world but they still wont win that league.

NG I thought you knew everything there was to know about Badshot Lea but sadly you are way off the mark and I need to put you right

I will ask you one question........... and think very carefully before answering

With no ground, no revenue streams and limited sponsors... Do you honestly think that we have or have ever had a big budget........ The answer is no......

This season for example. We started with less than last season and we cut the budget around Xmas time

All of our money is going towards our own ground project and I hope that by the start of next season we will have some positive news

As for next season we will be as competitive as we can but I can tell you now we will not be throwing the so called big bucks at it

As for having a so called moneyman, you are off the mark on that one. We have been fortunate to have people within the club who have put money into the club but not to pay players expenses, instead it has gone towards important things like groundshare costs.

If you ever want a true picture of what the ins and outs are at my club then let me know and I will gladly meet up with you face to face and tell you

Ok non league i I'll bite, talk a good game!! We play a good game and have done at all times, batesy has a good reputation as a player and a manager long before T.V turned up,Wembley being tipped has come other sources, not Wembley.ian knows it will be the usual suspects pushing for promotion with guernsey joining in and poss any1 who gets relegated.but we could be In the mix.we beat Windsor and Guildford away and should've beat Guildford at home had it not been for a last min equaliser.Players will come and regardless of money,we're losing 2 players straight away through work and visas running out.what club you involved with?

Your budget started less than last season ? well thats still more than most clubs in the CCL Premier .......!

Mark, whilst I appreciate you protect your club, and it was wise to cut the budget when your team was safe with nothing to play for, thats when your players (mercenaries) left. It's common knowledge that Badshot Lea have a big budget, not thru' sponsorship but thru' some wealthy person, but like all the others you deny it, its that Windsor syndrome. Why can't clubs just own up to it, I've nothing against it, good luck if you do have a good budget next season, all I am saying that Badshot Lea have under achieved and being the Chairman, if you are being honest with yourself, you'll think the same that your budget has been badly spent over the seasons gone by.

So can please tell me what the wage was for the following players before you cut your budget: Pomroy (before he left for Chertsey)Agyeman, Peters, Smith, Blount (before he moved to Chertsey) ? .......and think very carefully before answering ? ;) !

I rest my case........

Oh yeah, whats that oldish silver haired gentleman's name again ? :D

Because it has nothing to do with you or anyone else who has absoluterly no connection or affiliation with the running and management of any football club. When will you ever learn?

It amazes me tho' Windsor Ed that previous posts, threads Windsor forumrites said that they are paying plyaers near to nothing, as players are playing for the Windsor shirt......what a load of Bo**ocks, thats why ! Even Chennells is playing for nothing..WHAT 'cos the love of returning back to Windsor........yeah right ;) !

Windsor live behind those rose tinted glasses, and paid all that money in the region £65000 -£72000 NOT to win the CCL Premier infact won NOTHING ! Money well spent I say !!!

Windsor just can't admit they have a healthy budget, when people know they DO have a damn good budget as highlighted above.

I think Wembleys big budget and appointment of Terry V will take the pressure off of us and onto them.

There's no pressure on you GD. If you finish top 4 it will be the highest any promoted team will have finished in their 1st season so would still be a massive achievement particularly with the amount of travelling you guys endure.

As far as I can recall, no-one from Windsor has mentioned any budgetary figure regarding what the players etc may or may not be getting. So you just carry on with you Don Quixote-esque campaign with regards to what clubs may or may not be doing. Just watch out for windmills!

Correct Windsor Ed no budget amounts revealed and I wouldn't expect that, leave that to me ;) ...but to deny Windsor don't have a big budget is lying, but DID say players are back playing for the love of Windsor for near on nothing and that goes for O'Toole and Chennells as well...................sorry but I just had to LOL ... :D !!!

The fact of the matter is that Windsor has got a big budget to attract big players, and win nothing, thats fine with me and good luck but to deny it ...why ?

Haha all this budget talk is billy ball roam!!! I think like newby commented on another thread rather have a squad who are wanting to play and die for one another than pick up the odd 10,20,30 or in brad smiths case a new pair of boots lol

2 things non league i is quiet after his stupid post!

2ndly--- why all the hate for chairmen or clubs that pay? As was said earlier it happens at all levels and you can't tell me If a man or women walked into your club and said they're gona spend thier money on doing your club up and getting in players to get it promoted you wouldn't greet them with open arms!!it don't always work, camberley, chertsey,Windsor,Egham all pay but still haven't win the lge(chertsey promoted but didn't win it).those that do pay why not just say,we do pay and our budget is none of your business!

I understand why a club does not reveal their budgets but its insulting when a club/chairman blatantly denies a very healthy budget when most on here already know who has the highest and who has none!

Teams with healthy budgets at the start of the season were Camberley, Badshot Lea, Windsor, Egham, Guildford.

I would estimate anything between £650 - 1200 per week. Take your pick at which team had the highest.....

Teams with a low budget or no budget would be Sandhurst, Cove, Mole Valley, Dorking, CWU, RPV.

I could be wrong !!

I would applaud any manager and team with a low budget that finishes above the big spenders. That is a good sign of good management, coaching, team spirit and togetherness.
