Season 2012 -13 exciting season ahead for CCL

ellers

Recommended Posts

I believe next season the CCL division one and Prem will be the most exciting for years.

The Prem has the Guernsey factor, Big spending Windsor, Mega bucks Wembley and quality sides that will improve like Egham, Hanworth Villa and Horley, not forgetting we do not know who is coming in at Camberley, Division one will be wide open too, teams like Warlingham and Lammas will be up there as usual and Eversley, the rumour of budgets at Frimley Green, Banstead (if relegated) and Cobham will give them a chance and Westfield will push too.

So all in all a very exciting season ahead in both divisions.

I know who I am going for but I will keep my predictions to myself for now.

Unfortunately the Chairman turned them towards being that a good few months ago mate.........in my opinion

Full respect to Dave, his staff and the players that stayed, especially for the last few games

I agree Carthorse but things like this will stain him as well as the club. this is senior football.

Your right, senior football, I feel sorry for every manager that has tried there and there has been a few !. Promises Kroonnttz, promises that never materialise. Whats the latest on the 3G pitches ? Has all this got something to do with the ''alledged'' £250,000 from Rangers? Somethings not right at the club who in fairness has a decent ground, pitch, lots of land but always freezing...... !!!

D'ya reckon Kroonz. I haven't had the opportunity to attend any prem club matches (apart from the cup games) so can't determine where we lie in the form. It will be very interesting though and hopefully the games will be closer than some of the ones that Guernsey had this season. The tougher the game, the more passionate the crowd and better the atmosphere.

I do reckon Panthera. It is my view that Guernsey joined the non league set up to make serious waves. Now with all due respect to the CCL getting out of the CCL will not create the sort of waves that Guernsey are wanting to make. Again if I am not mistaken the Guenrsey project has been mooted for a few years before it happened. In that time some serious planning would have been done to know exaclty what was needed to move up the leagues as quick as possible. there is always a danger, as windsor have found with Guildford, that there will be something that may stop them. Again in my opinion that will not be next season.

just my view Panthera and I hope that no-one from Guernsey reads it as a sleight on their club as it is not intended to be.

i dont think there'l win the league, where they have the best players available to them now how an where are they going to strengthen, unlike other clubs who chop an change regularly at the start of the season or are guernsey gona go through the route of getting non island based players or the dreaded jersey factor where some of there players have aired a view to playing for guernsey!!

one up is a tough task as we all know there'll be up there but i just cant see them getting much better though they are a decscent outfit an are still a breath of fresh air into this league!"!!

Yes you did a great job to hang onto their coat tails and windsor will prob do the same next year. But as I say I think they will have it all planned in stages. Maybe that plan is a 2 year stay at Step 5 but I doubt it !!!

I think they will sail through the division, better than any side I have seen in the Prem and was head and shoulders above any team in Div one.

They have discipline, fitness and most importantly quality throughout the squad.
