Sorry to stick Charity on here but Met Police's Chris Macpherson is a decent bloke and this is a great Charity

 

"On his 72nd Birthday, May 8th 2012 Met Police's Kit Manager Chris Macpherson will be attempting to swim 2 miles (128 lengths) at Watford Leisure Centre, Horseshoe Lane, Garston, Watford, Herts to raise money for Help for Heroes.

 

His swim will begin at 06.45 hrs and will probably take him 2 hrs 45 minutes.
