Prem/div1 result of the year

Recommended Posts

I would say any of our cup matches en route to the final (we haven't exactly had the easiest of draws)!

Bedfont Sports 1 - 2 Westfield

Westfield 1 - 0 Hartley Wintney

Staines Lammas 0 - 1 Westfield

All hard fought wins!

That surprises me Showboat, I thought your win over Bedgont Sports would of been your best result.

I think Knaphills best performance was away against Hartney Wintney, we were down to ten men after 20 mins when our keeper was sent off, HW were 1-0 up at half time but some how we played them off the park 2nd half and went 3-1 up, but HW didn't give up and scored 2 in the last few minutes to grab a draw.

For me earlier in the season we were maagnificent away to Bookham won 2-0 but played some lovely stuff on a difficult pitch. 2nd goal we must have strung about 20 passes together before crossing and heading home

Had a couple of heavy defeats but most dissapointing was our poor performance against a highly average Sandhurst side. A place in the southern combination cup final was there for the taking but we didnt turn up on the night

Have to agree with WFCPE that our win at Windsor has to be our highlight, although i would say securing a point down at Guildford would probably run it close.

The one constant between these two results - i never made it to the games - maybe i should have stayed away a bit more.

Bookham 1-2 RPV - first time I saw RPV win on over 3 years.

No surprise that Dobo Snr's heart sank when he saw me at the quarter-final against Colliers Wood.
