Ok People,

 

Colliers Wood flirting with relegation, Guernsey in all honesty winning the Div 1 title quite happily with room to spare, What will be the result ?

 

Colliers Wood Underdogs ? will there be a shock on the cards ?

 

Rumour has it there will be in excess of 500 fans traveling to this game from Guernsey.

 

Guernsey do have another important game 3 days later with the local derby against Jersey and im sure no matter what they say will fancy themselves this year with the amount of games played together.

 

As for the Cup Result i would have to say Guernsey will prove to strong and thier fitness will tell towards the end of the game and i can see Colliers Wood caving in under the pressure so with that in mind

Odds heavily stacked in Guernseys favour but don't write off Colliers Wood. Stranger things have happened and they've nothing to lose, they've also got a couple of very decent players in their ranks. As long as they don't concede early I reckon they'll give the islanders a run for their money.

I can't see there being 500 Gsy fans there, not at 330 quid a pop on the official trip. There can't be that many based in the UK coming, apart from me and a mate who fancies a few jars.

That price is not correct, I am paying around £100 less than that. Believe there is 120 on the official trip, 100 mini level footballers coming up as they are playing in a tournament, probably around 100 ex-pats I reckon around 400 in total

Your Right HKP, Jez Robin who is a part of GFC is taking approx 100 mini players as part of thier tour.

 

I think the big question for GFC is when will Jerseys top players come a knockin on the door to be part of the Lions, some of thier better players have publicly stated they would consider this and would like to take it further.

 

Not sure Guernsey folk would be too keen mind, but its an option prehaps.

I think it maybe a tight game, one thing im sure of is CW wont give up, tight bunch of players who work very hard for each other. As i've found in the 3 games we've played against them this season, although the table dont lie im surprised they are fighting relegation. I'll go for 2-1 to the UNDERDOGS
