And here it is folks, caught in the act, Windsor supporters with hands over their face sobbing in disbelief in not winning the league after spending all that money on players and management budget.... but don't worry lads, you got next season in the CCL to enjoy, spend all that money again then who knows.....................LOL LOL  !!!

Hardly likely I would say,as the Date given for Applications was stated by The Chairman as 1st May.I am sure Camberley are an Honourable Club, and would not waste Possible Applicants time and effort,in completing a C.V.Who knows Sven may even apply!!!!!

I'm intrigued in the Dorking Wanderers story.

Whether or not they have done something wrong is not the point I am getting at.

If they haven't got what they were alleged to have, then of course they should only get the grade for step 6, but I'm interested in how a grading committee can move a grade down an extra point as some sort of punishment. Either a ground is of a certain standard or it isn't.

If I had a ground that was Step 6 standard and was told they were being relegated to step 7 I would be taking legal advice.

Ed there are several Clubs that play at Step 6 even though they don't currently have the grading for Step 6 (Grade G). Dorking Wanderers would have been one of them as couldn't have had Grade G without installing the lights which they only did recently.

If the rumours are true then there could be issues with the lights and/or stand that may still prevent them from obtaining Grade G.

The CCL have given Step 6 Clubs until the end of next season to obtain Grade G else they face the real possibility of relegation.

Before anyone accuses me of 'having-a-dig' - I'm am not. Just stating facts.

The whole of the back page of this weeks Dorking Advertiser is taken up with an article by sports reporter, Lee Wilmot, which states that there is to be a Sussex League meeting this Saturday, 28th, to discuss the 'fate' of Dorking Wanderers.

It has been implied in this article that the consideration is not to promote them to Division One, but to demote them to Division Three over certain ground grading issues.

Should the article appear on the web, I will happily post the link.

Clemo and Savage have apparently taken the Camberley Town job.

So do we castigate Chubby for putting out a wrong rumour, because if Nice Guy had posted the same he would of been.Of cause we do not, reason his thread was quickly answered by people who know the true facts.Likewise when a request for Whitelaw to comment about Saturdays matches,he kindly did so.We in the C.C.L. have never had it so good,it is a shame that certain posters have left this site, but that is their choice.V.P. is quite happy posting on NON LEAGUE MATTERS,getting his info from this site I may add.Bomaya got the hump with me and left. But one thing is for sure, viewings are up,people are aware this site exists now.

I really hope it's not true about Dorking Wanderers being relegated after their great season. Lovely little club and a lot nicer to visit than some other Sussex grounds at that level!

I did? Where the feck did you get that from? I've just had a lot going on in my life over the last few months including a very ill relative, the death of a work colleague and other matters. All far more important than non-league bloody football! Christ, the egotism of some people!
