Who would you fancy/not want in the play offs?

I agree with EU, If you get promotion on Sat you would have deserved the title - Not questioning that.

I also agree that it was a comfortable draw for you against us recently - in fact you could have sneaked a win in the end.

What I'm saying is that we can beat anyone on the day - like we did against you away.

Any one team can beat any other team on their day. Just look at Wigan, beat arsenal and united last two games. But what's important is where you finish, the rest is irrelevant.

I agree that position is important -don't think I questioned that and if you win the title you would have deserved it. We beat you though because we are a good side. We beat Lowestoft because we are a good side. We're second because we are a good side. I don't agree that any team can beat another though - can't see Wolves getting too many wins until the end of the season.

The play off's are normally won by the form team at the End of the Season.

WE need to perform in the next couple of games and not dwell on the dissappointment of not going straight up which was in our own hands with 4 games to go.

If any one team could not beat another on their day, what wud be the point of the perceived lesser team even turning up on the day??

As long as the don't win on Sunday that'll be OK.

Horsham's 4 points at us and yours is proof of that and may well cost us (or you?) the title, as may your and Lowestoft's losses at Tooting & Mitcham.

after winning the senior cup last i think canvey might end the season on a high now and sneak in to the play offs so wouldnt want to face them in the play offs as the results have been in their favour the last few seasons ... my choice would be wealdstone minus the woodwork to help them this time around , and they would also bring in a good crowd for a midweek game

That's actually a very valid point and highlights one of the problems with the Premiership - The rich clubs are getting richer and the lower clubs are struggling to pay the wages of the players in order to compete, and some like Wolves can't. I don't think we've seen the last club get into financial difficulties. I think we're both better off watching Non-League football :D

Looking at Hendon's last two fixtures would fancy them to make the last play off spot.

I wouldn't mind bury or Hendon.I saw enough from all our games against both sides to know that we can beat them both comfortably.

As for canvey,I don't believe they would be a problem. We only list at their place because of the sending off, until then we were giving them a hiding which should of ended up with the scoreline being reversed

Cray would be the one I would be worried about to be honest. I think they are the only team other than Concord that have outplayed us. Bury have done the double over us I believe but again the sending off changed the game at their place (like the Canvey game) and I would fancy our chances. Think we were unlucky to lose to Wealdstone and would another crack at them.
