A good performance against an average Chestnut team. It was good to see us more clinical in front of goal. I think we're going to miss Michael Ewang in the play offs.

Few pleasing moments and one very disappointing issue.

 

Pleasing moments were a clean sheet, back to scoring ways and eventually grinding a determined local opponent to the ground, plus we were in total control. The game was played in great spirits and feel there is now somewhat a closer bond between the club's than ever before.

 

Disappointing issue was that I felt Albury Walker should have worn a suit and led the two teams out and allow him to soak up all his popular applauds in what was the day of the season for him, shame.

Yesterday proved to be 'comfortable'. Wasn't a classic, but then again 3 points is 3 points.

 

What I do worry about is the number of free kicks given away. Cheshunt were not able to capitalise on our mistakes but a better team could. As for the number of players on both teams affected by drinking too much falling down water.....

 

I said on here some months ago that it could all come down to 21 April. Something I seem to have got right.
