I enjoy reading all the post on this forum the agreements and the little arguments that go on. I was wondering who has had the most influence on your views on football. This applies to everyone, supporters, players, commitee members and referees. I have been involved in football for some time and have met lots of people all with a view on football and this got me wondering where people got their views from.

Utter scumbag and greaseball of the lowest order. The manner in which he, and West Ham, behaved when unsettling Alan Pardew when he was Reading manager was disgusting.

 

Influences? None really but I have been inspired by many people behind the scenes at Windsor.

Did you mention how they got Brendan Rodgers from Watford NLN ?

 

I was not impressed with that either. At least it was during the close season and BR had been associated with Reading FC since he was a 16 year old. Managed the Academy and Reserves before joing those wonderful people at Stamford Bridge.

 

If an official approach is made and the parent club says no, then that should be that - but as we all know that is not the case.

I am certain my views came from my Gradfather or "POP" as I always knew him.

 

He as I was born & bred in Windsor however for some reason every Saturday when we came back from whatever football match he took me to he would always buy the "Pink Paper, Classified?" & look for the Raith Rovers results, why "the Rovers", I nor my father have a clue, perhaps I was too young & the time to wonder why and ever ask him because I was having such a great time, so 50 years on thats why I always follow whats happening @ Starks Park & Stag Meadow & visit both grounds as oftern as funds permit.

 

Soo many happy memories, both sides of the border.

My biggest nuisance, oh sorry influence, well that has to be Uncle Fester, he has taught me how to be a bully and verbally abusive on computers, altho' I'm finding it difficult to be a copycat, I'll be patient 'cos I know he won't let me down....bless.............LOL :P !!!
