Last Ever Basildon United Home Game this Sat 14th April

To all you hoppas please spread the word this Saturday could spell the end of Basildons existence at its home of Gardiners Close as the club is in major turmoil with no forward thinking and more importantly a major lack of investment in the team and facilities.

The club have handed its resignation to the Essex Senior League and if no savour is found by mid june then the club will fold after the leagues AGM.

So this Saturday could witness the sad demise of this proud club bottom of the ESL will be facing Hullbridge in a 3pm kick off.

Any locals would be welcome to pay their respects in what should be a town that can easilly support a non league side of Basildons size

Many a slip twixt cup and lip Chris, still don't think it will happen, just a gut feeling.

 

If there's no beer, everyone is welcome to pop next door to the Selex Club for a pint of Real Ale, where Basildon Town will also be playing our final league game of the season, 2:30KO.
