People who get in free

Recommended Posts

I had my spies out in force last night, and I can confirm that two female supporters, in their early 20's (let's call them Miss H and Miss C) both got in for free at the side gate by the tea bar.

They were let through this gate by a young chap (Mr McT Jnr for the legal reasons!) who just waved them through.

They then proceeded to sit in the stand for free too, dodging payment of a further £1.

Look.

This matter was raised on here a couple of weeks ago and The Chairman came on requesting that the matter be dropped and he indicated that he would 'deal with any problems'.

There is a danger that if contributors to this message board 'keep-on' complaining about the number of people who gain free entry to games at Clarence Park, some of those freeloaders will stop coming to games thus depriving the Club of much needed income.

It's one thing getting in for free, but to then take a free place in the stand too. Shocking!

I hope these people realise they are bleeding the club dry and will apologise to Cookie, as they are partly responsible for lowering the budget, and therefore his demise.

Hi Rob.

Not forgetting that Gibbo said that he was/is dealing with this matter, I have a small query concerning your observation.

What is your view concerning those who do 'good works' for the Club during the week, thus devoting their time between matches at The Park?

Hi Rob.

Here's one or two to start:

a). Somebody who contributes two pages to the matchday programme, without payment?

B). Somebody who spends at least 60/90 minutes per week contributing to the Club's Official web-site, [rather than message-board] without payment?

c). Somebody who telephones a live match report at half time and full time to City Hospital radio, without payment?

d). Mr & Mrs Brew in their capacity as Clubhouse Manager and her husband?

e). A member of The Supporters Club Committee who spends time on Committee business during the week, without payment, but whose duties on matchdays permit him/her to watch 90 minutes of the game?

f). A friend or family member of e).?

g). The tannoy operative?
