I'm a wreck,

Thanks to the run in.

As most of you know i think we are blessed with a really dedicated team. no individuals like years gone by. it really has been an all for one and one for all this season both players & supporters. (and maybe the welsh bloke on the gate)

All we have to do is continue as we are.

The lads know it's in their hands and us supporters need to step it up as AB said "they need to hear us"

Lets all get behind Craig's Blue army

Get in ti em [****!!****] em up

Been there done that & still we are ahead.

I confess that i forgot what an absolute [****!!****] place Upminster is. The only consolation to today was meeting up with the legend that is Eastside Urchin. & he had no scars from any recent attacks by anyone we know.

I did however promise myself as i left and listened to the so called security pricks that i will never EVER go back to the race track again.

A combination of [****!!****] officials and [****!!****] stewards and Manky bogs made that place for me the worse place to watch a game of football in Essex and the non league ladder that includes the other race track chelmsford town. (with the exception of Canvey and that's a proper dump)

It's a sad day in football when you have to depend on the opposition to boost your bar takings. Bye Bye Urchins

You obviously haven't visited enough bogs in non league grounds BB.

I don't let stewards upset me, I just outsmart them. For example, if you ever visit a Premier League Club with a bottle of water, the yellow coated numpties will relieve of the bottle top to stop you lobbing the said bottle on the pitch - so the majority are inconvenienced because of a few lunatics ( the same in our society at large today ) . However, all you need to do, is remove the bottle top before approaching the turnstiles, take a swig from the bottle as you walk up, then replace the top once you are in the ground. Likewise, yesterday, a reverse walk round the ground would have solved the problem.

The Hornchurch fans and officials I spoke with were a friendly bunch - I am sure they would prefer to have their own proper ground with ends for atmosphere but life aint that simple at non league level - unless you have a rich benefactor. I would prefer to visit their ground in the higher division next season, than a lot of other grounds I can think of

Just curious Mr Pilgrim what other grounds would you rather not go to next year preferring a visit Bridge Avenue If we go to a high division next season?

Do you know something i don't

Don't like to talk of next season yet UM but over many years I have seen quite a few interesting venues. My main concern is the cost of travelling for the Club and the supporters. For example look at the journeys Bishop Stortford have in the North. Should we go up and into the South - how many will go to Truro City or Weston SM? Surely a few short trips will be most welcome, even if the venues are not perfect?

As far as bogs are concerned, the one behind the goal at St Albans City a few years back holds the record for being the worst I have seen ( but offset by their excellent playing surface ). I also have interesting memories of Atherstone Town and Stafford Rangers. The best bogs at this level? - probably Dorchester Town, courtesy of Tesco.com

I agree is too early to talk about it but i did say IF we managed it ,i too have been going to football for over 30 years so seen quite a few of interesting sight's myself.

As for the longer trips i believe you would still get the hardcore that have been going to away games for years winning or losing personally i would love to visit somewhere different rather than visit Hornchurch again i have lost count on visits to that place.

There are several local trips too for the people that don't want to travel to far as well.

As for the cost's hopefully the home crowds would be up and as for this season the avarage attendance has been pretty decent .

According to this table our average gate is 38% up on last season.
