Travel if we go up

Recommended Posts

Come on boys, sort this promotion thing out, it's yours for the taking!!!

Hope to see you all next year. First of all....Ryman? You'll be lucky, no chance. First of all Thurrock will go there from Blue Square South and Hampton & Richmond, Staines Town, Eastbourne Borough and Bromley will all stake a claim to go there if relegated. If anything, someone might get shunted across to the Southern like Harrow Borough or Wealdstone?

So if you do get up, get used to the idea of travelling. Actually this season hasn't been as bad as our previous seasons in the Southern Prem for travelling - furthest this season was Frome Town (yuk, hated it), although next season we've got Bideford coming up from the South & West.

Also you'd pass Hemel on the way down and Chesham just might win the playoffs! Which would make your nearest club St.Albans??

Anyway it's not been a bad season for us. Believe me, you'll enjoy the likes of Bashley, Redditch and Stourbridge much more than AFC Hayes or Uxbridge! But yes it does mean quite a bit more travelling - that's the implication of promotion.

Hope to see you all next year. At least we aren't THAT far away!!

Thanks Chris and well done for your first season in the premier.

Probably have a better idea after this Saturday when we play at Bedworth who are a much improved team under Steve Farmer.

They were all over us at our place until they had their centre forward sent off.

To be fair, Chris, I'd enjoy severing my own limbs more than a trip to AFC Hayes. Glad to see you are doing ok.
