There going down than

He has done a lot for that club and it leaves them in a bit of a predicament...fair play to him, he has always wanted the Ware job and is a Ware lad through and through...big step up for him though, not sure there are any players in the Wodson team capable of joining him..apart from perhaps the balding centre-forward with the big derby and ass :)

 

...who is best mates with the new Ware chairman :P

Karen - Okay, apologies, I'm so used to you stealing my thunder that I hadn't noticed. Is there any news as yet on the new Welwyn Garden City Manager, it sounded as if the Club already knew who they wanted and just went through the motions of the application process.

Syd sorry mate I wasnt putting one out there to keep you all guessing merely informing Jonno...I am sure all will be revealed after the weekend...there is a certain AGM this Saturday I believe, which still gives 24-36hrs for stuff to change again.

One of your posts was close in fairness...however, I am told that the factor which could have changed things has all been resolved just in time for the AGM...although the manager is still not official mate..trust me I have that on extremely good authority.

Have to agree with WB on Winslows appointment that given what was at their disposal their choice of new Manager does not really smack of ambition.

Kit is a decent bloke don't get me wrong, but he doesn't have the cv to match what should have been an important season for the club, average records at Mursley and Buck Town doesn't really raise eyebrows.

With ex Manager Dammo now just around the corner at Buck Athletic any decent Winslow player wanting to play Div 1 football next season, well it don't take a lot of working out does it.

I hope Kit can turn the fortunes of the club around, but with Dammo on his doorstep and a division higher then I'm gonna have to echo the thoughts of WB

Don't know enough of the bloke but from what I saw of Winslow this season they rely to much on Phil Martin who's a very good player. Not sure if he will stay there or not but they will need another striker up there with him if they want to get in the top 4. From my experience in div 2 always play with 2 up front and Winslow didn't.

winslow will need a miracle to get out div 2 aylesbury reserves and wolverton have now enterd but bletchley town have foldid so most of them players that arent cumin with me will go there cant see them winning ....

 

so a mid table div 2 team are folding and their 'best' players are following the manager to a div 1 team to improve it...........you couldnt make it up.
