Cockfosters are delighted to announce that Mick Roche has been appointed as Club Manager for the remainder of this and the coming 2012-13 season.

Great stuff, great club and chairman always enjoyed games there. Scored a screamer on my last visit (as a player) in 2001 I think? Only up the road might do Pre season with the ressies

Is there no where you havent scored (on the pitch)! Where's up the road from Cockfosters?

Sounds like you and NF have a lot in common....he hasn't scored everywhere just played I think?

Saying that even at his age you can still experience something new......as he did in our friendly game vs Wormley!!! I will let him explain! Haha

Ha Ha.... yes I can say in all my years of footie I've never been called a whore on the pitch before. Most other things! Wouldn't mind but it was just standard defending he was getting upset about, wonder what he'd do if someone actually decided to get physical. I think a game against Colney Heath might open his eyes up a bit....

He kept saying it as well, not sure if it's a new youngster thing to call everyone a Whore...? He was a strange one, in footballing terms I would describe him as a Fanny :D Think there's a joke in there somewhere....

Hahaha I pictured him as a proper passionate Italian that you had upset with a crunching tackle and he got up and went all Paolo Di Canio on you

1. He wasn't worth it

2. I'm already trying a more subtle version!

I expect Haringey Borough will struggle to hold on to Tom Loizou after his exploits this season, I'm quite surprised he didn't go back to Cheshunt a few weeks back when Tony Faulkner took the job.

He's done very well but it seems he has a project there and any bigger clubs may wish to see him do it for a couple of seasons at least showing improvement and an ability to find good young local players time and again.

But that's what the likes of Julian Hudson, Kenny Dyer, Ged Searson and Allan Fenn did before him, the area is a hotbed of talent and don't forget Tom Loizou has a big budget whereas his predecessors all worked on a shoestring

I don't know whether they do or don't have a budget.
