I don't know what game you've been watching Cookham - so far it's been a repeat of the North Greenford game! Slough have been huffing and puffing but Chalfont look far more dangerous!

If it finished 0-0 at St Neots, this is a really disappointing result!

Only to be expected, as I have pointed out many times lately you have to beat the lesser sides-we on the other hand always struggle.

Yes, we struggle because teams like Chalfont are happy to be defensive, waste time, nick a goal then play with ten behind the ball. They only had two meaningful shots on goal all game. Anderson playing in a wide/free role made a big difference - if we are really going to be "gung-ho" as has been suggested we should use Jerome like that from the start.

frustrating and maybe our last chance of closing on St Neots gone but we shall see

 

if only we could have played like we did towards the end of the 2nd half for more of the game. we very nearly bundled a winner but wasnt to be

 

we must just try to keep the play simpler i feel. 1st half it was all to complicated approach play and it just didnt work

 

all we can do is win as many of the last games and hope that if its the playoffs we are in the right mental state to be on our game to make sure we win the semi and final.
