Players signed since start of the season

There are'nt any (well not many anyway).

A couple of things about this season make it relatively unusual for me.

A) i don't think we have taken a single player on loan throughout the whole season.

(i did make a similar post about a month ago-which i don't think had a single reply-so must qualify as a particularly boring post of no interest whatsoever i guess-but does still make it a bit unusuul for me.

Not making judgement as to whether that is good or bad-simply an obsevation

B) Where 'permanent' (permanent used loosely)singings have been made-very very few as well.

normally-you find that the team in Marrch has about 5/6 different names to one that played in september. This season-the only player i can recall who has been signed and effectively sealed a place in the team is Beales-i think signed in october-but was'nt he training with the team in the summer anyway to get fitness-so not sure if thsat has been a post season signing anyway.

Yep -we have had a few transients-pulman/johnson,jackman,davies etc. etc-and indeed-a couple of strikers playing at the moment quite recently signed.I'm not sure though that either has made a starting position 'their own ' and gauranteed that they must be retained for next season.

i guess i am suggesting that the squad has not really been 'improved' upon since it started in August.

Maybe that reflects well that a good squad was assembled last summer any way; but whilst i like to see stability- would slightly more 'refreshment' during the season-may have helped the cause a bit more?

Not easy-and if the right players are'nt available no point signing them-so again-maybe this is also a 'positive';and equally one suspects that the pot of resources available is pretty small-so CK has i guess done pretty good overall.

i think most people would agree though-that if you keep to the same thing-you keep getting the same results-which are average- (and there is nothing wrong with being average)

In fairness to Chris, a couple of his signings - Ryan Johnson & Warren McBean did not work out as we would have hoped - Johnson left due to work commitments & McBean due to his attitude to the Ryman Premier. Both were good signings by Chris that would have added to the team as a whole ... sometimes though things don't work to plan.
