Great scoop for Wembley, one of English finest coaches. You just watch next season, players will swamp Wembley pre-season just to listen and learn from the maestro, so could Wembley be a force to be reckoned with next season....... if he does the coaching ?

He was at the at the game vs Colliers. He didn't say much during the game from what I could hear and seemed to be taking it all in more than anything. I wonder if had taken up the roll then or was just seeing what he had to deal with?

It's a joke signing imho. It'll be a [****!!****] disaster one way or another.

If cash is involved it will all go tits up, and if no money is involved, then no disrespect to Wembley but I can't see what difference he will make at this level.

Jertzee why is it a joke, if there is cash he will do great things, if there is not a lot of cash he will still attract players and still do great things, why would a player with potential not want to play for him, especially with his contacts.

Is he El Tel actually going to be coaching or just an advisor role?

What ever happens Guernsey will romp the league next season.

Alan Devonshire had his first managerial appointment at Osterley FC back in 1996.

There was a marked improvement in performances, attitude, punctuality and throughout the club generally on and off the field.

Double cup winners and league runners up with the players that were already at the club.

I am certain El Tel will add to things at Vale Farm next season. He would probably only attract players that will need some financial persuasion although his involvement alone should attract some new faces locally?

Budweiser would not get involved just to improve the Wembley Clubhouse interior. The bar at Wembley when they play at home,is as good as empty. The local population are not avid Footie Fans.Been told by a source that they are recruiting already for next Season, offering decent money as well. Now El Tel is involved,is he doing it for love,of course not.Champions elect in my opinion.

your kidding yourselves if you genuinely think hell take training ! can only presume hell give advice behind the scenes and not get involved with management. anything you can learn from him would be a bonus but if he was brought in to make wembley better then the current squad and management better beware as they could be packing their bags.

Alan Devonshire great skilful player in his day, but his teams do long ball, different to who your'd expect from the way he played, but it seems successful.......sorry Devs had to say that ;) ..... I'll buy you a drink when we next meet up.......
