Last bit of info for the time being - here's some of the potential players in the Ex Pro's X1...

Marcus Gayle (ex Wimbledon, Rangers etc)

Pete Smith (ex Brighton)

Nicky Forster (ex Gillingham, Brentford etc)

Tony Finnigan (ex Crystal Palace)

Jamie Lawrence (ex Bradford, Leicester etc)

Neil Smith (ex Tottenham, Fulham, Gillingham etc)

Richard Carpenter (ex Fulham)

Neville Southall (ex Everton)

Liam Brady (ex Arsenal, West Ham etc - to be confirmed)

Dave Beasant (ex Wimbledon, Chelsea etc - to be confirmed)

...apart from the last two all these players have said they'll take part but obviously you never know with these kind of things. So there's no guarantees that all the above will be there but hopefully they will. More potential players to be announced all being well.

Please try and spread the word.

One or two there could play for both sides

Arrrrgghhhh what a clash!

My team where I was born (Newport County) are at Wembley that day in their centenary season.

Be nice to see Ramsgate Legend Lee Minshull at Wembley Alan, have an enjoyable day.

Today I can announce two more likely candidates for the ex-pro's team...

Simon Osborn (ex QPR, Gillingham etc)

and

Bobby Bowry (ex Millwall, Crystal Palace etc)

...still likely to be more names to announce soon all being well.

If you haven't already done so please spread the word about the match as best you can. Will be handing out flyers at the Cray game next Monday.

An update on the prices on the day - it's been decided that the previously announced £7 adult / £2 under-11 prices will remain BUT there's now a new price bracket - £3 for those aged between 11 and 16. Hopefully that'll encourage a few more people to come. Please continue to spread the word and make it a day to remember for Bill.

Also, Greg Oates and Iain O'Connell unfortunately can't make it but there'll still be a stellar line-up of former Margate talent.
