What do members think of the so called Cash For Access scandal and the Sunday Times revelations over the weekend against the Conservative Party that their former co-Treasurer, Peter Cruddas, offered time with the Prime Minister in exchange for a £250,000 donation to the Party. If this was the case then obviously Cameron was totally unaware of any wrong doing, indeed he is quoted as saying that 'it was quite right that Mr Cruddas had resigned and that it shouldn't have happened', a Conservative Party spokesman said 'no donation was ever accepted or even formally considered by the Conservative Party, all donations to the Party have to comply with the requirements of electoral law and these are strictly enforced by our compliance department'.
