Without doubt down at Redding Way we have not had much to shout about this season despite the first team's improved run of results since Phil Ellery's arrival back in November however, one thing we can shout about is both our Under 18's sides.

 

Our youth team reached the The Grant McLellen Cup Final (C.C.L Youth) for the second consecutive year with a hard fought 1-0 win over Epsom & Ewell last night at Redding Way thanks to a sublime 20 yard volley from Josh Hughes to seal a place against either Bedfont Sports v Westfield who will play Camberley Town in the semi final.

 

To reach the final they have seen off Guildford City, Eversley, Molesey and now Epsom & Ewell. We have only being running the youth for two years. We also have a Allied Counties League Quarter Final clash with Maidenhead Utd next week!

 

We also run a U18's girls side on Sunday's and victory against nearest rivals Q.P.R Girls this coming Sunday at Redding Way will see them clinch the title. The Girls are also in the final of the league cup on Sunday 29th March at Merstham FC against Q.P.R Girls.

 

I know not many people on here are either interested or like watching Ladies/Girls football but this team of girls are a very good footballing side and fully deserve all the success they have had.

A good couple of days for you, Trentender!

 

You wouldn't happen to have any details of the Epsom line up from Monday, would you? If you or someone at Knaphill does, could you PM me please.
