after the sad events of the game between tottenham an bolton where fabrice muamba collapsed on the pitch it does make me think what would happen to one of our players (god forbid) if it happened at our level i would fear the worst !?

The level of medical care at Premier Legaue is fantastic, sadly I dont think we can ever expect to have the same level at our level.

 

One thing that is possible is for some medical screening, heard the cost is about £35pp. I know it would not stop a case like Muamba as he would have had all of the checks but it would stop some...

Agree with HKP unfortunately. At the last FFXI game we sponsored C-R-Y and think the events at the weekend are so sad and occur more often than is made public. The price for screening is a small price to pay to be sure.

 

I really hope Muamba pulls through.

Great to hear that Fabrice Muamba is getting better, lets hope this continues. It is incredible that in a land that appears non religious the phrase 'Pray For Muamba' has become the phrase of the week, every prayer helps. As a not very religious person I am more than happy to offer my prayer to Fabrice as he is clearly a good man and in need of them, and it seems to be working. But I ask, where is the Arch Bishop of Canterbury now that the biggest religious event of the year has happened? Knowhere to be seen! What a surprise! with him in charge no one would want to say they are religious would they! So Fabrice's manager Owen Coyle has lead the way and Fabrice with the help of a fine group of Paramedics, Doctors & Nurses will hopefully, God willing live a full life.
