Supporters game 24th March

Hi all,

Struggling for numbers for this supporters game next Saturday against Shinfield FC at Farnham Park.

The current list I have is as follows, based on what we had from last time (minus those who have told me they aren't available)

Dan, Nigel, Mark, Radders, Sr Jr? and friend?, Tom, Andy?, Claire?, Martin, Marcus?, Bruce?

 

Some of the above have not confirmed if they are actually playing.

I know I cannot play a full game because I have the half marathon in 2 weeks, so we are very close to not having a full team to cover the whole game.

 

Please confirmed by Monday if you can play, as at the moment the game is going to have to be called off.

Right, so we currently have a squad of 11 players:

Myself, my friend Nigel (who played in the last game), my housemate Brian (the Hop Leaf's first keeper), Mark, Radders, Marcus, Sr Jr, Tom, Martin, Marcus, Bruce and Matt.

We will need subs for those of us who cannot play a full game. As we are so short we have been thinking of asking if any of the Hop Leaf guys fancy changing sides and helping us to make up some numbers, but obviously we will still accept any offers from other Slough fans and people they know! Let me know if you are interested.

The game kicks off at 11am at Farnham Park.

Dan, can't commit at the moment, but should be available to play. Will confirm later on in the week.

Guys we still only have a squad of 11, plus maybe Gary. I am not fit enough for a full game so that leaves us with not enough players. If we don't have any more by this evening I will have to cancel the game.

Seemingly it won't make a great deal of difference but I am available to keep goal for the game. I term that loosely.

Dan if we've got the guy who started in goal for hop leaf then he wasn't a bad outfield player. If Gary plays couldn't he play on pitch. Think it would be a real shame if we had to cancel. Especially as I've actually got this Saturday off work!!!

I'm working on getting a couple more people in. At the very least my brother can play the first half for us. No need to cancel now!

One of Tom's friends will play and he can poss bring a friend too, if needed. Think they might be quite good too. Let me know if you want the extra one

Dan, Bruce cant make it for the game tomorrow. Only just found out now but looks like we have had a mini surge in numbers so should be ok.

That's a shame to hear, he was one of our best players last time out!

 

Game is due to kick off at 11, so meeting sometime around 10.15 to get changed and have a decent warm up.

Awesome. I'll get changed at home and be there for close to 10.30 I think.

Unless somebody says otherwise, I shall assume that HorshamRebel can't make it and be there for about 10.45 for the photos.
