My opinion, We was Awful, Sloppy Passing Throughout the Whole Game, I Have Kept Away from Ref's This Season But Today He was Awful, Poor Decisions and No Penalty!

Oh dear - Don't want to take anything away from Cray as they are one of the better sides I've seen this season, but that hurt.

Tight game first half, Hornchurch edging it. Second half fairly even until Cray scored then Hornchurch were in the ascendency for a long period after that. Well crafted second goal for them. Was a clear handball in the box and should have been a pen for us - Was the ref's view obscured?

 

Hornchurch deserved at least a draw out of that game. I've seen them play worse this season and win. We do need to look at our form though.

 

I'm sure there will be some twists and turns until the end of the season but as it stands Billericay have now got the clear advantage. Home form is going to cost us.

Well that's our promotion hopes gone, i feel.

 

Obviously going to end up being the laughing stock of the league if we don't get promoted because the team seem more keen on fcking our chances up in the last few games.

I'm not giving up - not with 8 games still to go. Billericay still have to play us and Lowestoft and I will predict that as a minimum we will be in the playoffs.We're not out of it yet.

felt the 433 formation didnt work and Cray sussed us out...we were very sloppy and cray didnt give us a sniff....we really cannot afford another slip up now.

Didn't see the formation on Tuesday where 4-3-3 worked but it didn't seem comfortable out there today.

Think the opposition played a part in that though.

Not the best of performances today and cant grumble about the final score or the ref who missed a blatant penalty and had a shocker of a game.

 

We need to forget this game; the team learn from it and move on.

Automatic promotion is out of our hands for now but with eight games or so still to go we must not give up hope. Billericay drop three points any time and its back on with them still having to come to the Bridge.

 

It’s not in our Urchin nature to give up, keep the faith.

Our home form has not been as good as it needs to be and our superb away form is what has given us a chance of the league title. I would be more optimistic than just play-offs and say top 3 as a minimum, considering how long we have been near or at the top this season.

Can't complain about the result the game is based on fine margins from looking like taking the lead and making it two one ended up losing the game too many players just didn't get involved in the game taking nothing away from Cray best team to come to the bridge this season

Look, everyone here would at the beginning of the season take where we are now. We have a good chance of promotion either by the play offs or straight promotion. Points and wins are more difficult to get at the run in and we can only hope that the Billericay game is significant.

I just thought we was sh1t,we looked good once we got the equaliser but yet again we get caught chasing the game.Our home form is shocking but any plonker that thinks us or Lowestoft are out of the title race is a fool.The last two weekends we have lost to two promotion chasing teams,our next two games are games we will I believe win.

Ricay will think they are in pole position but I believe they will have to beat us and Lowestoft to claim the title,if they do then hats off but at the moment the gap is 4 points (I think),not alot with 24 up for grabs
