Car Parking at St Neots Town FC

Hi Slough fans.

No one has mentoned it yet, but the car parking situation close too the ground at St Neots Town FC isnt great!

I believe the actual club car park is closed, to everyone except players, officials and staff. There are two overflow carparks, one directly behind the stadium as you enter (30 spaces approx) and another overflow in the primary school next door (30 spaces approx). These are always jam packed.

The ground is located on a new housing development called Loves Farm which is still work in progress (1250 new homes). It has two southern entrances that both eventually lead to the ground. Parking on the street is OK, but one part of the estate is particularly narrow. The ground is directly opposite the towns railway station, but their is no footbridge linking the railway carpark (350 spaces) and the ground. You have to walk the road route, which would take you about 8-10 mins from Railway Station car park to the ground.

The closer you park to the stadium, the longer it will take you to get out.

The town centre itself has loads of car parks, all though because of a greedy local council, none of them are free anymore, except the LIDL / Council car park, which is also probably the closest available, heading out towards the station and the ground (12-15mins walk).

So please take plenty of time to get too us here in St Neots, parking might be an issue, if the crowd is as large as both clubs expect it to be, remember, you might get in OK, but getting back out might be an issue. See you on Saturday, can't wait! Regards Craig

Good post Craig, Also a good test of any vehicles suspension...

The North entrance to Loves Farm on the bend at the top of Priory hill is also worth remembering as there's some good parking close to the ground accessible this way, just be mindful of residents and all should be good.

Unforunately the council car park at the back of LIDLs closed at the start of this month, in preparation for work beginning on that site for the cinema.

Also the north entrance to Loves farm from Priory Hill is currently blocked off to vehicles, though is still accessible to pedestrians.

Cheers for the correction SH,

The "free" parking bays in the Riverside car park over the bridge near the river still require you to get a pay and display ticket, so don't get caught out there either! ( and you cant park for long in them either)
