Trouble at the Urchins.

Recommended Posts

Their best player Lewis Smith stormed out of the dressing room after being left out last night. Reliable sources (my mate a supporter) report a troubled and divided dressing room. Oh dear.

Keep cluching at straws though jammy,we ain't going anywhere with regards to the title race and I am sure Lewis will be back once he has realised his mistake, see you in April, all 1200 of you.

It probably happens at most clubs but it's best to get this sort of thing out the way early in the season and not in the run in. The following was posted on the Upminster forum on November 12 by an utter moron.

Trouble at the Top......

They may be top,but it appears that a few of their players think they are a few leagues ahead of where they are.No wonder Edwards is getting players in,left, right and centre

Could have been written this week about Mcfarlane.

And you call me a forum troll, keep clutching jammy dodger,we're right behind you, mind the gap,see all 1200 of you at the bridge on the 9th April,COYU

Ps,let's hope young Harrison isn't trying to wangle a move away, that sort of thing can have a detrimental effect on a teams moral ROFL

I think what's important is how a team react to such a situation, we lost David Knight at half time against wealdstone and managed to battle on for the draw and proceeded to win our next 3 games. Funny enough up next for us then were Hendon and Cray. Who both play hornchurch in the next two weeks. Let's see if they can react in the same manor...

How would the other players in the squad feel if he did apologise and worked his way back in?

If it were my club Id want rid. even if he was our best player. Players with those such attitudes will only learn the hard way

Why so defensive Upminster troll ? As you say time will tell but having your best player walk out, a divided dressing room and losing at home to fifth bottom Hastings isn't the stuff of champions. Added to that a paltry crowd of 207 that have had enough of watching your teams hoofball. If we do bring 1200 in April it should swell the crowd to at least 1307.

Keep clutching boys,we may of lost last night but that was more to do with our first choice centre backs being out plus a couple of players out with illness, can't win every game,no one team in this league is good enough to this season, anyway it is the same Hastings we demolished earlier in the season,I think you drew with them down there.Swings & roundabouts dear boys.As for smith being our best player??? One of our top flair players but I could name plenty which I would consider more important to the team rather than individual talent, tuohy,Anderson,Curley, hunt,Noel & hayles, the last two who were both out last night(the latter going off after 15 mins)

Keep convincing yourselves we are not a threat and the wheels are coming off but I bet your manager and chairman are a lot wiser....

Well I have seen worse refs. He could and should have booked one of Hornchurch players for entering field of play without permission when he sneaked on after going off injured, he just made him leave the pitch until he called him back on. Should have heard the howls from Urchin fans. He added on nearly 7 minutes injury time. He only booked one player and with the rolling around of both teams could have been more.

lol he could of quite easily booked number 2 for hastings for constant whingeing but he didn't

One of the stupidest rules is that of an injured player not being allowed to come back on straight away,we all know why the rule about a player must be waved back on came about, its primarily to stop cheating and anyone who was at the game last night knows that this wasn't cheating or timewasting.Still no complaints had he been booked, its in the rules and the players know this.
