Yeah! They did come all the way from the extra preliminary round, they're in the Screwfix Direct Western Premier Division, they're about 6th at the moment.

Aint it Waltham Forest now? Seems a name change can do a world of good, last season they just managed to avoid relegation, and now they're in the top half of the league.

Yeah, there is a team just called Leyton, Ryman Div 1 North i think, top as well but i aint sure.

Yeah Waltham Forest are 12th, so just squeeze into the top half, and Leyton are 9th(not top) in Ryman Div 1 North.

I think part of the reason Leyton Pennant changed their name was to avoid confusion with Leyton.

 

I think Leyton were only formed or reformed a few years ago because they won the Essex Senior League in 2002 the first year they were in that division.
