Thanks to everyone who turned out today, a very good game overall, played in the right spirit. The Hop Leaf guys very much appreciated us putting on a game for them, and would like to repeat it later this year, maybe in August during their preseason.

Also a special thanks to Mike for organising the pitch and facilities, and also to our young ref who stepped in to take charge of the whole game and did a very good job.

 

We have another game scheduled for the 24th March against Shinfield FC, at Farnham Park, who are in the same league as today's opposition. Hopefully we can get a similar sized squad together for that.

My nephew is 23 years old and plays in centre midfield.He would like to join the supporters team/squad.Could anyone tell me who he has to contact,regards playing? He doesn't seem to be able to access this forum,so I said would try to find out for him.

He was a reasonable player in his teens and would have played a good standard of non-league had he not endured several foot injuries that wrecked that opportunity.

Its less of a case of joining the squad, more turning up on the odd occasion we have a game. He would be more than welcome to do so.

 

Speaking of which...we still have this game booked in for the 24th against Shinfield FC at Farnham Park, kick off at 11am. Can people please let me know if you are free for this game or not.
