Someone told me it was her birthday yesterday.

I wondered if anyone else celebrated it.

I'll be celebrating tonight with a few drinks and a good meal.

 

It's thanks to Baroness Maggie that my dad made a shedload of cash in the '80s, and has meant I can maintain the champagne lifestyle I have become accustomed to.

bring her back as p.m. ok she is probably madder than ever now but that didnt stop reagan.. he defeated the russian empire and made rich people minted and he couldnt do his own shoes up..

I had a lunchtime with my folks, both devoted Thatcherites, who appreciate excessive boozing and the cashrich society that Maggie created.

actually, if by some freak of nature the british people wake up and vote the tories in, they should name one of those new aircraft carriers they are building the 'maggie thatcher'.. that will really fk the pinkos off

Great idea. I think a public holiday to celebrate Maggie day is in order, but only for those of us who have a few quid. The workers wouldn't appreciate it anyway.

 

No doubt Chubhead and the Voice and all the other lefties will have something to say on the subject when they wake in the next few hours or so.

I always told him that when he split up with Charlotte nobody would really be nice time to him, he said some bloody horrible insensitive things when I split up with Mandy a couple of years ago, just a taste of his own medicine maybe he'll understand the trauma now and be a tad nicer next time, although I doubt it!

Anyway, I WAS going to argue about Maggie thatcher but I got up at 6am today and I really can't be arsed. Actually, you should build a statue of 'Thatch' and make sure it's really tall so that the pigeons can [***!!***] on it more easily <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
