There are some "unusual" circumstances as pointed out by Whitelaw earlier where the 3rd placed team won't get promoted. These include teams being "directed" to the CCL Premier by the FA - as Windsor were this season. But GFC needn't worry - leave that to Bedfont & Hartley Wintney

Reports saying that GFC have now lost the three points from Saturday as they played a suspended player...

As has been reported elsewhere this afternoon, Guernsey FC learned earlier today that one of its players who played in the 2-0 victory over CB Hounslow United on Saturday had been suspended from Saturday-league football following him being sent off in a Guernsey Priaulx League game whilst playing for his local club, Northerners AC on Friday 10 February. GFC was unaware of this and also of the start of the two game suspension with effect from Friday 2 March, hence his inclusion in the team on Saturday. Upon becoming aware, GFC informed the Combined Counties League today and expect to receive a three point deduction and fine at the league's management committee meeting this evening. A more detailed press release will follow.

Thought that F.A Rules this year made a clear distinction between Non League and Non Pyramid Football.That bans do not count at the Higher level if sent off at the lower level.Unless it is a Sine Die Ban,for owing Clubs money.I stand to be corrected though.

Why is everyone talking about promotion? It is not mathematically certain yet. Or are people just assuming the GFC will win enough of their remaining games.
