Camberley 2 v 1 Wembley.

 

Feisty encounter at Krooner Park. Wembley started the brightest up the hill and deservedly took the lead through Shelton in the 11th minute. To be fair Wembely were the better side for much of the 1st half and looked comfortable until 43rd minute when Girling touched home a free kick at the far post. 1-1 at half time. 2nd half was a different story and Camberley dominated it going up the hill and deserved their winner in the 67th minute from Smith. this was a minute after a disgraceful act of cheating from the Wembley 4 for only holding his head when he realised the ball had been played through to a Camberley player who was onside and 1 on 1.

 

Good to see Pearcey and always a joy to watch Batesy run both the middle of the park and spend the entire game in the refs ear. Thought the ref was a little weak but for me Camberley deserved the win.

Dorking on long losing run v 3rd placed egbam.

30 minutes of egham possession without threatening

Bit of even play and the flukiest rik o'shea goal saw chicks with the half time advantage

 

A new look chicks side without teletubbies competed all over the park. Defended. From the front. Few u18s on park and egham keeper pulled off a few to keep them in it.

 

Egham scored in last ten to set up a good quality finish

 

Ref and linos good throughout.

Strange post match atmosphere. Most of our players etc gone by 6

 

Thanks to all egham fans players etc who were friendly and stayed despite the defeat

Knaphill 2-2 Staines Lammas

 

We hit the post, hit the bar, missed a penalty and there keeper was man of the match, really pleased with our performance today and next season can not come quick enough for me.

 

Best of luck for the rest of the season Lammas, 4 cups would be amazing.

very disappointing from us. Game of few chances. Sports went down to 10 men after 26 minutes but dug in and we just couldnt break them down. Aside from set pieces neither side created much and the goal came 18 min from time following an error. Sports very organised and wanted the game more than we did. Weve lost our spark and need it back soon. Good luck to Sports who will do well in the prem next season with their experience

A great result for Town with all three goals coming in the first half a great header from skipper Anthony Jupp put us in front followed by Kyle Hough and then another eader this time by Adam Pullen.

Shouldve been a draw at krooner park,poor goalkeeping for camberley 1st and didn't see the 2nd.we didn't test your young keeper enough,but he made a good save early in the 1st half to keep it at 1-1.well done and nice to meet some old faces,nice to see woody back in the camberely dug out to,a top bloke.
