The Officials had a good game, good workout for both sides as well.Croydon were far from full strength, and Whyteleafe had many new faces on show.Game played in a competitive, but friendly spirit.A player too look out for John Fowler Jnr,only a youngster, but a chip off the old block.Looked assured and composed against his elders.Score of 3-1 about right on the night.

He was Chris,a cameo 45 mins, then subbed.Scored the 1st with a volley, laid on the 2nd with a delightful cross for Dos Santos to head home.Do not know if he has been signed though, been training with the Leafe for a couple of weeks I was told.First I knew about it last night, when I got to the ground.Suprised no Dan Aldous playing for the Leafe,is he still there.Did not recognise a lot of the players.

Terry has not signed - that's not say I won't be asked to get a form organised this week. We've been very busy signing players left right and centre since Griff took over from Nick. Reggie Savage, Omar Folkes, Roy Odiaka, Ian Selley (on loan), Bradley Duke, Louis Clark etc. etc.

Don't know if Dan's fallen out of favour. I like him but he could work on his distribution.

Lee Fermie, with the new influx of players brought in last week, like Broomhead and Kaffo from Merstham, the much travelled Reggie Savage from Ramsgate and ex: Merstham and Walton Casuals defender Bradley Duke, do you think Leafe can turn it around and avoid relegation being 9 points (3 wins) adrift ? Big Ask !

Massive ask and also dependant on Burgess Hill and Whitstable failing to pick up points. I guess it's also important to get as many points as possible between now and the end of the season so that we aren't the worst of the 21st placed Step 4 teams nationally.

IF relegated LF would Whyteleafe go down to the CCL or the Kent league ? OR could it be that as so many clubs are going out of business, would Whyteleafe get a reprieve as many do from the Ryman ?

A good run out for us last night got a chance to play alot of players who were coming back from injury and haven't played for a while with the weather and thos who have been fringe players. Result was fair but lot of positives from are side defiantly both 16 years old Ryan fowler who played 90 mins and didn't look out of place up against Ian selley and young billy who came on left back second half.

Can't believe broomhead manged to score on his birthday never going to hear the end of it and nice to see whyteleafe trying to get out of trouble with lots of new player, thanks for the game good luck
