So i think that's eleven points behind Guildford with just one game in hand and only 12/13 games left. Barring a real late season stutter by Guildford, I think the real interest is going to be at the other end of the table in the closing weeks.

 

It's home defeats like tonight and to Dorking and Mole Valley that have really done the damage for Windsor.

Just got back from Stag Meadow! Windsor were poor tonight although dominating possession in the second half we created little! Well done to Wembley who i thought were a decent side. They defended exellently all game. Strange how Windsor changed a few players in the starting line-up tonight and also the formation. Dont know if there are a few injuries but otherwise why change a winning side? Little disappionted with the new striker from Hanworth Villa. Oh well i look forward to a second season in the CCL!!!!

Windsor back 4 to slow for our 2 up front,all Windsor had up thier sleeve was a long throw(which was fecking huge).pitch was beautiful! Where did the ref get 7 mins extra time from? Wembley have taken 7 points off the top 2 in 4 games.outside shot next yr(see who bites)

Seemed to me that Windsor played 3 at the back tonight and it didn't work! But like i've said i thought Wembley were one of the better sides we've played this season! Fair play to them! And quite agree Wembley's 9 was very quick!!

Well done Wembley - quick, neat footballing team, good to watch at times.

 

Windsor only really turned up (again) for the last 20 minutes when we battered Wembley but we seem to have gone shot shy in the last 2 or 3 games. We look like we want to bundle it over the line.

 

Not being rude / provocative etc. but I'd like to ask a question about Wembley's 'keeper last night...

 

Big unit and he did well on the night, but he just did not look like a proper 'keeper to me. He flapped / patted at crosses, palmed everything away on the dive unless it was right into his midriff and in his pre-match warm up looked all at sea with anything low down, and his handling was suspect as well. The coach was showing him the "W" shape of fingers and thumbs when catching the ball above waste height....

 

So, no offence, he seemed like a decent guy and he certainly kept us lot out, but is he actually an established 'keeper?
