Mo Farah

Recommended Posts

Loosely - Like I said I have nothing against Mo Farah, I'm sure he's a perfectly decent bloke but he's as British as you and me are Chinese, that's my point

If only you knew how silly that statement is but being the sheltered racist you are you never will.

But you're not stating fact, you have no idea - as usual - what you are talking about. There are so many examples of people born in other countries, even celebrities who have been born abroad who we'd never be having this discussion about. It just seems that Mo Farah is the one you have a problem with. No one really wonders why.

Next he'll be saying that Harry Webb, aka Cliff Richard, should not have represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest because he was born in India!

Exactly Hookey! Haven't seen a thead by Rhodes complaining about Englebert Humperdinck representing us this year either. Englebert being born Albert Dorsey in Chennai....

:D When the Duke of Wellington was being teased about the fact he had been born in Dublin and therefore not an Englishman, he replied, "being born in a stable doesn't make you a horse"!!!

Dublin was part of Great Britain back then

That's a bit like saying Paris was part of Germany just because it was occupied. Maybe it was!

Who gives a flying [****!!****] about Mo farah or the Olympics! I like the vast majority dont care. Our only concern is getting out of London for this Bore festival. I myself will be laying on Sth beach Miami during the day and dining on Latino pussy at night. After all be it british or English or latino pussy it all tastes the same.

Some people wouldn't feel at home south of the river, doesn't have anything to do with how british they are.

Not in my opinion EU but its horses for courses, similarly to Basildon I have austrian blood yet unlike him I visit my family in a small town two or three times a year and feel "at home". I'm british though, I feel british but then I've lived all over the UK and accept change and difference maybe more easily. I've worked with east-enders earlier in my life who had an aversion to crossing to south London so they felt differently yet they were british.

I see that Mo Farah did well in the World Championship 3000 meters today in Turkey finishing a distant fourth!:

sorry but if you visit somewhere two or three times a year then isnt it perfectly natural that you would feel at home there,my point was that Britishness isnt based upon place of birth, skin colour, religion or whatever but the place where you feel at home,an argument of course totally opposite to that of the BNP.I have German blood but it would be absurd to state that that somehow makes be germanic as ive never visited the country and dont speak a word of their language,im about as German as Mo Farah is British.
