Very disappointed that Martin has left at this stage of the season. Again, I feel we are being let down, first by Seeby and now Martin.

 

Have to agree with CR, yes we have cover but 2 quality players have now left at a crucial stage of the season. Could be the difference between winning the league or getting into the play-offs.

Looking at Bohemians web-site, they have 33 players signed on and according to their manager a lot of them are on amateur forms.

 

If I remember rightly, didn't Martin go to play in Ireland after he first played for us? Bohemians have just started their season so perhaps it was always on the cards.

Lower division of Southern League or top tier elsewhere with chance of entry to euro cups? Know which one I would choose! Good luck to him. Yes the timing is bad from our perspective but get real...

Murphy is a week away from returning to by all accounts. Lose one, gain another.

 

Fair play to Adam, having the opportunity to play at a higher level is one that shouldn't be refused. On the other hand, surely it will affect his acting career!

Yes fair play, he has gone to a higher level like Seeby but I can still be annoyed, we have 14 games to go until potential glory and 2 of our better players have left, it just riles me and to me shows a lack of loyalty! Call me what you like but that's the way I see it, we basically get Adam Martin back to full fitness and he leaves, great isn't it!

in fairness he showed decent commitment in even joining us in the first place. absolutely too good for our level when fully fit and performing. irritating that he has gone but good luck to him i dont blame him going at all

 

this Owusu stuff sounds more and more like we will be seeing his return to the club even if just in the short term. not sure how it would work though as it would take us to 5 strikers. i got the impression Jerome Anderson has played on the wing for Hitchin this season though may be wrong. Owusu COULD be different class at our level though and can you turn that down?

Whilst I agree that you can understand a player leaving for a higher level you cant blame people for being annoyed. Lets face it from a selfish point of view if you are honest you only want the best for your team.

 

As for me I am over the moon that Simon and Danny should be back soon, brilliant news.
