I hope the discovery that it was a mammoth tusk during the rightly lauded snow clearing effort, does not mean that the archaelogists need to come back in and crawl all over the site causing further building delays

Pity whoever found the mammoth tusk did'nt just throw it back as seems likely to cause all sorts of disruption and delays to the build programme to me.

Mammoths trunk dates back to when certain Thanet Councillors were first elected and formed their attitude of letting the town of Margate stagnate whilst using over £1 million of ratepayers money per year in allowances and expenses!!!!!!!!!!

Prehaps we should ask the Kenyan Champions Tusker FC to a pre season friendly now the Tusk has been found.

in the abscence of any other excitement in my life, i decided to re-read the recnet new items on the official site home page-and now realise that the harrow postponement thread advises that

 

'the snow clearing operation was discovered to be a mammoth task'

 

and not as i originally thought

 

'a mammoth tusk was discovered during the snow clearing operation'

 

i apologise for any confusion caused
