I'm impressed this year that CK and JK seem to be spreading our net a bit wider to find suitable players-that itself has surprised me a bit as CK has been away from the league for quite a few years (i guess the Kevin Raine scouting stuff helps as well ).

Now whilst newspapers do have a habit of making a story where there is'nt one-just for anyone who has missed it-todays NLP reports than CK and the Horsham manger have kissed and made up-and indeed CK is quoted as saying that the Horsham manger said 'thats ok,i'll get it sorted and you can use him on saturday'.

 

Now that does not exactly say that Murphy has been signed/registered -and indeed CK may not have taken up the option-but maybe it does imply that there is more than a passing interest ?

(is this the same Tommy Murphy who played for Ashford-Kent?

Reading through the article below though-if nothing else-its refreshing to read that whilst some players dream of playing for manchester united,chelsea-or even crystal palace-Mr Murphy may be following 'dream ' by playing for margate-and rightly so.

Like danny above-i am unsure as to whether he is a 'striker',winger or central midfield player.

I think he plays just behind the striker(s) so in an attacking midfield role (I'm not 100% sure though)

 

With a lot of players at this level they can play in many positions...just look at Curtis!

I believe he can play just behind the strikers although he has played up front before but his current position is central/defensive midfield moving to defence if needed and he is also handy in goal.
