It may not be the most glamorous sponsorship deal;but looks to me to be one of the best.

 

They seem to be supporting the essential stuff -brilliant.

simple things like stewards clothing-all add to the professionalism -great stuff.

 

I'm probably as guilty as any of being dismissive of health and safety and stewarding issues (i can steward myself at my age),but its a bit like insurance-you only notice it when it goes wrong;and again-i think we should recognise how important (and costly ) that side of the business is .

 

Maybe next time someone wants to have a minor whinge about stewarding/health and safety-we need to look at the example of kettering(bit of a basket case admittedly) where they are now having to play behind closed doors because they can't afford stewards-imagine how that feels to a kettering supporter
