Exactly Kroons, never heard B.J.R. described like that, but all are welcome.

Unless you are connected to Guernsey or Windsor eh Smudge?

Your comment regarding the use of the Windsor Forum is interesting. Why do you think it is in decline?

A forum like this is similar to a good village local.

You move in quietly, knowing nobody. Then gradually you get involved in a few conversations and develop friendships over time.

Trouble is, every pub has its hellish bore - the know-it-all, done-everything, been-everywhere type of person who butts in all the time, tells the same old stories, has the same sh1te banter, night after night after night....

Yep, pretty much the same on here really.

Bye bye, go back to your Windsor forum !, You can't go around like that 'cos its not a nice way to talk about Smudgeyboy Roths..........by the way baby face, when did you lose your hair and teeth .......lol ! ...........

I agree not much to talk about at the moment. Apart from the England manager situation. I believe the next England manager should be English I don't care who he is as long as he's English !

Please FA get Pep Guardiola - 13 winners trophies in 4 seasons ..........played with style ! Now wouldn't the English supporters just love that..........but you know !

Good shout, Holloway for England.

We have little ambition at this tournament so have nothing to lose, and it would certainly be interesting.

Then Harry or whoever can have a go from next season.

Jose wouldn't run a National team. He'd get bored in between the matches. Guardiola is an interesting choice but he can't bring those players with him so would have to deal with a lot of players who couldn't adopt his ideas.

On another subject, is it just me or does anyone else find watching Spain boring? It's just not the way we play here and I prefer to see more action. Maybe that's just because of the football I grew up watching, but I just wondered what everyone else thought?

Went to see Spain in the friendly at England and I agree Ed it was boring to a point. But watching a team keep the ball for 2 to 3 minutes away from our Donkeys was quite fun.

Ed be serious ! Yes its what you grew up watching, and there was that marvelous FA report done by someone I cannot recall his name, saying that the English correct sytle of play was the ''long ball'' (anyone remember his name... Taylor ?).

Don't get me wrong, there are uses for the long ball and has its advantages, but for young kids learning the game, its got to be the tic-tak style to enhance all forms of improving each kids advancement in the game.

I Disagree about Guardiola. With him and his coaches they could install the Barcelona/Spain style for the England team then perhaps we may win something, after all its a proven winning forumula ! Or are you saying that we don't have English players who do not have the skill to play the Barcelona/Spainish style ?

Why on earth is everyone talking about Barcelona nowadays, 'cos they are boring behave, or is it that they are technically so much better then the UK players who are subject to playing our ''long ball'' antics.

Who are the FIFA No. 1 ranked team, who are the world champions at Senior, Under 21, Under 19 level ?

Is it by coinidence that the Spanish World Cup winning team had 7 (SEVEN) Barcelona players, playing the Barcelona tic-tak way as do their U21 and U19 may I add.

Tell me why are English (UK) coaches and managers going to watch Barcelona training sessions ?

You will now see that many pro and non-league clubs changing their style to emulate the ''Barcelona tic tak style'' because people enjoy watching skill, touch, movement, pressing, all with the ball on the floor ! Players actually enjoy it more as well.

I've even noticed the CCL have a few good passing teams (ie), South Park and Molesey

You find it boring cos the ball is being passed as opposed to lumped ! It's not Barcelona/Spain fault that other teams cannot or find it hard to compete, so they just make it difficult for Barcelona/Spain to score by parking the bus.

Its actually a CREDIT to Barcelona/Spain management team finding a style of play that other teams find difficult and have to combat trying to match them, now thats upto the opponents managers & coaches, but there seems to be no answer, even the 'special' one (well he did twice I think) when playing against Barcelona..... .

You must think again Ed, have you played football ? It maybe boring for you as a spectator, but if other clubs/countries have the formula to combat Barcelona/Spain then perhaps their games may be more exciting, but thats not Spains fault. From one involved with football from a tender age, I personally enjoy watching Spain to study their assets as stated above.
