If Hearts pull out, Brechin City have shown an interest !

It's cold, there is not a lot else going on and no great prospect of this weekend being any better, with snow falling as I write; why shouldn't the silly season start early?

Like when Tempest..... March ? No matter when, the season will always hit winter month/s which as we know from the season are unprecictable !

I was speaking with someone yesterday who has a son playing for Epsom Eagles and he was talking about Craig Whyte as someone involved with them as well which I guess is where all the Epsom Eagles becoming Banstead Youth came from.

He will probably end up buying Farnborough from Spencer and being their new saviour and different from all the other owners they have had :)

The £250k was (allegedly) put into an account 'Regenesis-Banstead Athletic FC, so i doubt very much that the club has seen any of the cash. Just my opinion on it.

Quote: .....and the £250.000 which ''allegedly'' went to Regenesis-Banstead Athletic AFC was ''allegedly'' taken from that same account.......could this be another case of money laundering ? Where's the money gone to ?

If one was to speculate, one might make a connection between the £24.4m Whyte raised by selling Rangers' future season tickets to Ticketus before he'd even bought the club, the £18m of that money used to pay a bank debt and the £6.4m remainder, whereabouts currently unknown...

Of course, I couldn't condone such wild leaps of the imagination in any way but some might be lead to suspicion.

I hope for the sake of Banstead (or any other local club) they steer clear of Rangers, who are about to bring shame on the entire game.

I am led to believe that the Cobham manager resigned on Wednesday and has taken 5 players with him to Banstead as of today!

Ken Reed will manage the Cobham side against Bookham tomorrow!
