Buzzing Bee was you at the game on sat? I was suspended and watching, we had a few players out but so did you by all accounts?

 

Thought draw would of been fair result?? Still we have got you again this week (im still suspended) then again at the end of the month!

back to the question of promotion...

 

I think the biggest obstacle is our ground or lack of; not convinced with the tight time lines we will be able to meet the criteria for promotion next season.

 

As for a threat on the field... probably our pitch!

We MUST meet the conditions,and i believe we will.

 

winning the league and not being allowed up,because of ground criteria,again....could spell disaster for the club....I can't see the board letting that happen.

 

both stands ,to be delivered in less than a month's time,i believe.

Not being allowed up would be a disaster. Winning this league is not going to be easy this season and to be told our ground is not good enough after battling hard all season would be terrible news. All the uncertainty surrounding non-league re-structuring is not helping our cause.

teams stopped from going up for groundsharing,dates being moved and management comitee members with possible axes to grind.Also many,many petty rules that can be used as and when.The ishtmian league will need to lose clubs and quite rightly they have a history of looking after their own.Wheather we like it or not media darlings afc wimbledon will be prefered to us.

this is personal view,to me promotion should be planned for,worked for and hoped for,NOT expected as a god given rite.it is impossible to cover all points.just remember this close season is one of major change.

Got to agree with you on that. However, the thing to remember (from a supporter point of view) is that if everything goes horribly wrong and we don't get promoted, we will still be in a league full of damn fine teams with damn fine clubs and club members and I for one would find that to be not such a hardship.

Don't forget, the official reason EFC didn't get promoted last time they won the Isthmian League had to do with capitalising players' transfer fees and that is now a requirement under FRS10.
