Heybridge are giving their pitch a heat blast,which involves putting cars under a tarpaulin and revving the engine,it apparantly works.

I just suppose some clubs want to play more than others.

to be honest, we don't want cars on our pitch as it will ruin the surface.

if its frozen like it probably well is because of the weather, best to not have the game on especially for health and safety reasons!

There are pitch inspections at both Thurrock and Romford (Aveley) at 11.30 today.

 

So no need to go to Lakeside quite yet.

I'll try to get down there on Thursday, having a couple of teeth out in the morning under sedation but sure I'll be ok for the evening. Going up north next Saturday for a few days so I'll miss Carshalton, but will be back on Tuesday so should make Margate. Ta Tony

Dagger, if there's capital league on Thursday i will comedown and buy the badge then, also depending on the weather as well.
